You could call this edition “The Passions of Orange County.”

 

And that seems perfectly appropriate for this time of year, when thoughts turn to love.

Meghan E. Murphy introduces us to Jerry and Susan Crocker, husband-and-wife chefs who met in culinary school. They felt an immediate connection. Twenty years later, they still try to spend every moment together, both at work and at home. The Crockers, owners of Back Yard Bistro, an intimate spot where customers frequently dine to celebrate anniversaries, Valentine’s Day and special occasions, also put their passion into creating a romantic mood for diners. And they’ve shared some romantic recipes for Orange Magazine readers, too.
